Now, more than ever, youth voice matters.
D2 Youth Voice is our office’s official youth-led Instagram page! Started and spearheaded by student interns in July 2020, this page engages and educates Minnesota’s future electeds through youth-focused activism and outreach.
This office has staked much of its work on the belief that our young people deserve to see themselves in the story of politics. To achieve this, we must empower, invest in, and make space for youth leaders to share and organize around issues that affect them and their communities.
D2 Youth Voice is one such platform. Organized and operated exclusively by student interns, D2 Youth Voice gives our youth leaders a place to use their voices to educate, engage, and inspire collective youth action. Accordingly, its content is the culmination of current events, community interests, and the passions of the page’s youth leaders.
